Toureen Retail complete Morrisons' Petrol Station transformation

The project at Morrisons, Sheldon, was a complete knock-down and re-build of a closed down fuel station.

Appointed as Principal Contractor by Morrisons, the 17 week project commenced with the demolition of the existing petrol station and the removal of both the existing canopy and existing car wash on site. The project also required the concrete forecourt surface to be removed, exposing six existing storage tanks to be extracted from below ground. The removal of the existing storage tanks allowed for the concrete base slab to be broken out in sections to aid environmental testing works and soil remediation to be carried out as per Environmental Health Officer directives.
