Denis Nolan is an exceptional leader with an entrepreneurial vision which has steered the Group from concept to a multi-million pound turnover company. He is widely recognised as a pioneer of solving complex construction challenges. Denis has ensured that the Toureen culture is led by integrity and family principles.
As well as being a 'hands on' Managing Director and often closely supporting several projects, he still oversees the strategic direction of the company. He also sits at the head of the company board.
With over 35 years of civil engineering experience and industry qualifications, he set up Toureen in 1992. Toureen is now an award winning multi-disciplined construction group. Denis is a demanding perfectionist for health and safety and this has led not only to his teams' well-being but several industry awards.
A true philanthropist himself, he supports many UK charities both within and outside the industry. No one was more delighted than himself when Toureen received 'Best Companies Accreditation' and gained a place in 'The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For' list, a true vote of confidence from his very own team.
Dan Nolan is Company Secretary and Group Board Director for the Toureen Group. His relentless enthusiasm, creativity and innovative vision have driven group company growth.
Having first joined the business in 1991, Dan has worked closely as a trusted advisor to the Managing Director and passionately promotes the importance of team development. Dan has over 20 years of industry experience and a Retail and Petroleum discipline. Since its inception, Dan has helped build one of the leading forecourt construction companies; enjoying unparalleled technical expertise and an enviable reputation for quality and delivery. Additionally, the division has been recognised within the industry for its commitment to excellence in Health and Safety performance with several prestigious awards.
Nick is highly motivated to bring results to all bids and tenders during the pre-construction phase and strongly champions attention to detail. In this critical role, he has committed to excellent communication, relationship building and technical knowledge. Having been integral to the company's growth since 2002, Nick was invited to join the board in 2007.
After qualifying as a Quantity Surveyor in 1993, Nick started developing his experience in construction management and civil engineering. He also has extensive international project management experience predominantly in the USA and West Indies.
Dave is an energetic, experienced and commercially minded Group Director with over 28 years in the construction industry. He inspires and motivates the Toureen team to drive the business forward seeking opportunities for the company. His convictions lie in strong project management and creative thinking. Dave was invited to join the board in 2007.
In February 2017, Dave was appointed Managing Director of our Contracting division, Boshers. Boshers is a specialist construction company, building quality projects with extensive experience in the main contracting workplace.
Morph was invited to join the board as Group Technical Director in 2016, after having led City Basements for 8 years as CEO and driving significant company growth in reputation and turnover. A graduate of Imperial College London and a Chartered Civil Engineer with 25 years' experience in the construction industry, Morph has considerable operational, technical and commercial skills.
As Technical Director Morph oversees all design and engineering aspects of the Group's activities. He leads a team of specialist structural, geotechnical, temporary works engineers and geologists; directing them to produce innovative, economic and practical design solutions. Morph's tenacity, drive and strong strategic direction has helped establish Toureen's position in the industry as a leading design and build contractor in the fields of demolition, geotechnics, deep underground structures and land remediation and improvement.
Gary is the Toureen Group's Pre-construction Director with over 20 years of industry experience. He oversees all current and future opportunities for the Group from inception at tender stage right through to delivery upon project completion. With proven expertise in civils, groundworks, temporary works and concrete structures, he has gained a reputation as an incisive and solutions oriented leader with a strong business and operational acumen. He has successfully networked and capitalised upon opportunities to secure high profile clients optimising a strong growth within the Group.
Logistics and Operations Director
Richard is Toureen Group's Logistics and Operations Director. With over 35 years of experience in the construction industry, he oversees all resources and planning for temporary works design and reinforced concrete works. He also supports and advises technical systems for sites. Richard joined Toureen Contractors in 2001.
Paul is a Director for Toureen Retail with a hands-on approach, who can work either as a team member or individually. He is a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual having gained vast experience within the petroleum and construction industry. Experience gained in high pressure and arduous situations has led to outstanding levels of self-discipline and adaptability with a lively sense of humour.
Paul demonstrates the ability to co-ordinate and execute complex tasks whilst simultaneously managing the output, human resources and career management aspects of teams numbering 80+. An excellent communicator at all levels.
Ciaran is the Managing Director for Toureen Contractors and joined in 2011. After graduating with a BSc in Construction Management from GMIT, he gained civil engineering experience in a construction company in Ireland. At Toureen, Ciaran initially works with the pre-construction team during tender stage and then manages all aspects of projects from start to completion. He oversees design teams, contractors and site teams and has demonstrated strong leadership and technical skills across many of the Group's blue-chips clients.
Property and Facilities Manager
Tracey is the Group's Property and Facilities Manager. She is responsible for ensuring that the workplace meets the needs of our employees, as well as ensuring our sites and offices receive the highest level of administrative support. She also coordinates Toureen’s IT and telephone services and the organisation of new starter set ups.
